My Go-To Summer Makeup Look

The weather this Summer in the UK has been amazing! I wouldn’t of even minded if I didn’t go away, I really enjoyed having constant sunshine and longer, brighter days. One thing that annoyed me was people moaning about how it’s too hot … Brits usually pay for sunshine so shut up and enjoy it! Who agrees?!

Anyway … the sun meant more trips to the pub and sunny day’s out so I found I was doing the same routine with my makeup that was quick, natural looking and felt good.

Watch the video to see my quick tutorial on how I achieved my ‘Go To Summer Makeup Look’.

FYI, this is my first tutorial! (Except for the one I did when I was 16, which I have made sure never surfaces earth again) I’ve been thinking about doing YouTube for years and always talked my way out of it. The day I filmed this I was on my way to lunch with family and thought … JUST DO IT. So, I apologise if it isn’t the pro stuff your used to, but it’s a start.

Here is a quick breakdown of the products I used with links:

LA Girl Pro Conceal – Yellow £5

The consistency of this product is really blendable and for £5 you just can’t go wrong!

Joan Collins Timeless Beauty First Base Foundation – Warm Dark £25

This is one of those products that you may not have tried because it’s not mainstream. I was introduced to it through work, and it honestly makes my skin look so healthy.

Kiko Soft Focus Concealer – Warm Beige 60

I think this concealer may be discontinued but it’s a more affordable option to YSL Touché Éclat. This concealer is good for very natural coverage, if you have dark circles you would need a corrector or a heavy concealer.

MAC Studio Fix Powder – NC42 £26

I’ve used this for years. If I have good skin days I may even wear this alone, or usually I add it over my foundation because y forehead can get greasy, especially during summer!

Ardell Eyeresistible Shadow Stick – Make It W’You £9

This is my new essential makeup bag product, especially for travelling.

Joan Collins Impeccable Loose Powder - £24

This product makes me want to do a post on makeup products that are underrated! This is the one product my girls reach for when we get ready together. It leaves an airbrushed finish without a flashback.

Ardell Brow Confidential – Dark Brown £11

This is a great product if you want something to fill in brows quickly, that look natural.

Benefit They're Real Mascara - £21.50

I mean, for the price, it better work wonders! It does exactly that, I love mascara's that separate lashes.

Sleek Face Form Palette – Medium £9.99

Again, another underrated product, me and my bestie have been using this for YEARS! Sometimes I feel like I should use a more premium contour kit, but why change something that aint' broke!

Extra Dimension Skin Finish Highlighter – Oh, Darling! £25.50

A highlighter that suits a range of skin tones. Very build able with an almost creamy texture.

Kiko Everlasting Lip Liner – 402 Almond £5.90

This Lip Liner really is everlasting, the colour is perfect for my warm skin tone and glides on smoothly, so easy to fill in your lips completely.

Wunder2 Lip Plumping Lip Gloss – Clear £17.95

My fave lip gloss, tingles slightly but really does give your lips a natural plumpnness, also it isnt gooey like cheap glosses!

Hope this list helps! If you have any questions or want to chat makeup then you can email me on natashasuribeauty@gmail.com

Lots of love,
